Gore Vidal's Billy the Kid is a made-for-television movie which aired on Turner Network Television first in 1989. It tells the classic story of the old-west outlaw, Billy the Kid, who began his nefarious career because of the murder of a friend. He then hunted down the men responsible for the murder, killing his way across the west until he, himself, was hunted down and shot by his best friend, Sheriff Pat Garrett.
Duncan Regehr portrays Sheriff Pat Garrett.
