A Story to Die For
"A Story to Die For" is a CBS Television Movie of the Week. It is based on the highly successful television series "Murder, She Wrote" starring Angela Lansbury that ran for many years. Yuri Malenkovich was the arrogant former head of the KGB. He is a Russian who was educated in Britain. The novel that Malenkovich wrote about Boris, a character that was obviously based on himself, is instrumental in solving the murder. This made-for-TV movie was shown on CBS on May 19, 2000.
Duncan Regehr plays a dual role in this film, Yuri Malenkovich, and Boris, a character in a novel that Malenkovich wrote.
